just arrived back from mariettas.we had a lovely holiday and were surprised by our friends mary and graham and julia.it was great to see all our friends again and meeting new ones.it was great to see marietta ,debbie fotis michael costas and of course gorgeous despina.we are missing you already and cant wait for next year especially meeting the famous dave who kept us entertained.have got to lose weight now after the lovely meals.love to all the familyxxxxxxxxx :welcome: :toast: :clap: :cool:

This thank you for a wonderful holiday is LONG overdue on my part as we stayed with you for two weeks way back in July…wish we were at the poolside right now! Your hospitality is second to none Michalakis family!! All areas are kept very very clean, we had our linen etc changed frequently and never once, not even when you were busy, did you Marietta, Michalis or in fact any member of your family let us pass without a word of greeting (and by name too, right from the start). The catering facilities were what we had expected and what we had paid for i.e. limited but perfectly adequate for holidays and we managed to prepare a number of meals in the apartment without any great bother. Although a distance from the beach, Pastita is well served by buses and we enjoyed many trips to Rhodes City as well as various different types of beaches nearby that were accessible by bus or taxi and others which we hired a car to visit (very simply, via yourselves). Pastita itself has a variety of eating places which we enjoyed greatly and the cake and ice cream shop is to die for!! The fact that air conditioning in the apartment was extra was made quite clear from the start and was to be expected given the level of rental – it was however necessary and was well worth the extra money so I am not sure what some people grumble about on this point. All in all a fantastic holiday that suited us and the boys (aged 13 and 17), both from the point of view of being located at this end of the Island of Rhodes and more particularly for the cleanliness, value for money and hospitality that you get at the Marietta! Any questions I wanted answered before the holiday, Michalis promptly answered by email and this too was very important. All the guest we met were like minded to ourselves and mixed well but at the same time did not invade anyone else’s space in any way. It was noticeable that a large number were repeat visitors – percentage wise we have never encountered so many returning to the same place as was the case here at Marietta and I think this speaks for itself. Hope you have had a good summer season and that we meet again!

we have just returned from a great holiday, we were all in need of a good rest due to a sad loss in the family nad marietta, micheal and costas made us very welcome along with their mum and dad, this was such a relaxing place, queit and just what we all needed, they cannot do enough for their guests and we were made to feel so welcome, the food was excellent and good value, we would recomend to anyone and will definately be back some time, love to you all kim and family xx

Just spent a very relaxing wonderful week at mariettas. If you want a quiet week away from the world in beautiful Rhodes,well you've found it! We booked direct this time and went half board ,which we both recommend. Marietta, Michael, Costas and the rest of the family are warm and welcoming and don't forget Marietta's gorgeous baby daughter Despina. We will be booking again as we just love the Michalakis hospitality!

We enjoyed a brilliant holiday at Mariettas.The friendly Michalikis family were so welcoming and helpful that we immediately felt at home.The food and accomodation were excellent and we definitely plan to go back again.We also had our baby grandson Daniel with us and he and baby Despina became good friends. Lots of love to Despina and all the family xoxo.
